Welcome to Fun Learning Spanish, where we believe that learning a new language should be a joyful adventure filled with laughter and memorable moments. Our motto is simple: "Learning is Fun When It's Silly."
Hello! I'm Sam, the founder of Fun Learning Spanish. My journey with the Spanish language began when I was just 12 years old. Unlike most kids, I didn't start learning Spanish at school. Instead, I picked it up Spanish & Catalan as a hobby to help my grandparents. They had bought a house in the beautiful Region of Catalonia, Spain, but didn’t speak any Spanish. Determined to assist them, I began learning Spanish on my own.
Despite not taking Spanish as a GCSE subject, my passion for the language never waned. When the time came to choose my A-Level subjects, I decided to pursue Spanish and English. I enrolled in my local college, where they tested my abilities. To my delight, I was allowed to take A-Levels in both subjects, which paved the way for my university education.
Since then, I have dedicated my life to teaching Spanish privately. Over the past 20 years, I’ve developed a wealth of resources based on the diverse teaching styles and techniques I’ve encountered throughout my learning journey. My aim has always been to make language learning engaging, effective, and fun. This unique, well-rounded approach is what I bring to Fun Learning Spanish, ensuring that every learner enjoys their journey to fluency.
