Pico and the App: A Quick Guide for Parents ✏️
Hi, I'm Sam 👋 I teach Spanish in person in Basildon. If your child has been going on about a pencil in a matador hat, that's Pico. Here's what he's all about.
Who's Pico? ✏️
Pico is the mascot of Fun Learning Spanish. He pops up in the app, on the flashcards and on the worksheets to make Spanish a bit less scary and a lot more fun.
What's in the app?
- Games, flashcards and quizzes
- A new Spanish phrase every day
- GCSE help for Year 9 to 11
- Spain Spanish, the kind UK schools teach
It's free to start, with paid plans if you want more.
Is it OK for my child? 🛡️
- Under 18s need your permission. They tick a box at sign-up to say they've got it.
- A parent or guardian buys any paid plan.
- 18+ packs are locked for anyone under 18. That includes the Swear Words pack.
- No upgrade emails to under 18s.
